The Rental Sales Gallery was founded in 1959 as a nonprofit gallery to help promote public awareness of Oregon arts by showcasing regional artists. At present, more than 250 artists are represented in the Gallery, all from Oregon and the Vancouver, Washington area. All artwork is original and juried. There are at least 600 pieces of art in the Gallery at any one time, with a total inventory of more than 2,000 works. Mediums include: oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings; wood, metal, and stone sculpture; drawings; collages; photography; and framed prints.
The Rental Sales Gallery hosts three artist shows a year. The shows held in April and October highlight new works by current Gallery members, and the June show highlights works by new Gallery members. Please check the Museum’s calendar for details. Right across the street from Portland Art Museum.
Paintings may be rented or purchased.

This exhibit is always a pleasure, always well-organized and popular in the community. "Lingering Spring" is one of 103 works accepted, out of 457 submitted from across the USA.
Jurors:
- Pat Cook exhibits internationally, is a signature member of the American Watercolor society and the National Watercolor Society.
- Holly Morrison, M.F.A. Cranbrook Academy of Art, is Interim Chair of the Department of Painting and Printmaking at Virginia Commonwealth University. Recipient of numerous grants and fellowships, Morrison's work is included in public and private collections in the U.S. and abroad.
- Daniel J. Scogna, M.F.A., has been blowing glass since 1988. A popular workshop leader, Scogna exhibits widely.
