This painting, selected by Governor Kitzhaber, is on exhibit at Mahonia, the Governor's mansion in Salem, Oregon.
I seem to apologize for barn paintings. Why? They are part of my family's background, and I played in a lot of barns when I was a kid. Barn architecture is regional, with Dakota barns looking vastly different than California's Central Valley barns.
Frame: (Note--this painting has been reframed.) French Baroque gold, 4" wide moulding. The ornate frame complements this little painting.
